GUWAHATI, March 31: State Chief Engineer (Border Roads & NEC Works) D Saharia has asked Additiol Chief Engineer of Western Zone Kushal Kumar Saikia to conduct an inquiry into the allegations of poor quality of some PMGSY roads in the city and submit the report within ten days. With the inquiry order issued on March 29, 2018, the inquiry report is to be submitted to the Chief Engineer by April 7, 2018. The Chief Engineer has also asked the Additiol Chief Engineer to take action against the defaulting officers/contractors.
