Inspection team orders closure of Little Flower School

Guwahati,  April 21: The Kamrup district school inspection team seized four buses and 13 vans from  Little Flower School of Hatigaon in Guwahati during its  inspection today. The inspection team also ordered the closure of the school for defying norms.
The school inspection team today visited the school, and found that it did not follow the rules and norms given by the Supreme Court. The school does not have any registration and infrastructure certificates till date. These apart, it does not have fire safety and power safety measures, the team said. The team also found the school to have poor quality teachers who are paid pittance. This apart, the school was established in front of a wine shop and without any permission from the government. The inspection team today asked the school authority to submit all legal documents related to the school and close down the school.
