Intertiol diabetes meet in city

GUWAHATI, Nov 1: The diabetics of Assam and physicians of this subject will get an opportunity to get more light on the disease during the three-day first intertiol conference on diabetes slated to be held in Guwahati on November 3, 4 and 5. Faculties of diabetes from the US, the UK, Africa, UAE and Bangladesh will be seen here in the city revealing newer inventions and discoveries on the disease and its treatment, said North Eastern Diabetes Society general secretary Dr. Sanjib Medhi while addressing the press here today. The highlights of the conference are Diabetic Food Workshop and Diabetes and Obesity workshop to be held at Hotel Radisson Blue, and to be presided over by noted intertiol and tiol faculties.
