IOCL's CSR scheme covers school

GUWAHATI, Jan 15: As part of its CSR initiative Indian Oil- Guwahati Siliguri Pipeline has provided drinking water facilities with RO plant, steel almirah, book shelf, construction of toilet block and aided in renovation of school building at rengi High School, Satgaon – Guwahati. The school, which is covered under the CSR scheme, is in the vicinity of Guwahati Siliguri Pipeline’s Right of Way, a press release said.  

The facilities were handed over by SK Palit – General Mager (HR) ERPL–Kolkata in presence of AK Mishra, General Mager, Guwahati-Siliguri Pipeline and other senior officials of Indian Oil on January 12 at a simple ceremony.  Palit and Mishra and other IOCL officials laid stress on the sustaibility of the project and informed the august gathering of various CSR initiatives undertaken by IOCL in Assam. Mr Palit advised all concerned to maintain the facility properly.
