ISCON to observe Rath Yatra, Balaji temple to remain closed

GUWAHATI, June 21: The Intertiol Society for Krish Consciousness (ISCON), Guwahati chapter will be organizing the ‘Guwahati Jaganth Rathyatra Festival’   from June 25 to July 3 with the purpose of spreading peace and social harmony in the Northeast. The rathayatra procession will start from the Ulubari Higher Secondary School playground and culmite on Jaganth Temple at Joyagar, a press release said.  Meanwhile, Sri Balaji Mandir at Betkuchi will remain closed on account of Ambubachi mela from June 22 to June 25. It will reopen on June 26 at 8 am for devotes, a press release said.
