IT raids in Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Oct 24: | Income Tax Department carried out a raid at commercial establishments and residences of prominent businessmen – Kalilash Lohia and Bajrang Lohia – in Guwahati on Tuesday.

The Tncome Tax sleuths raided commercial office and property of Kailsah Lohia and Bajrang Lohia – Subham Planners’ PVT Ltd and Topchem office, GS Road in the city. The team also searched and raided residences of both Kailash Lohia and Bajrang Lohia in the city. The raids began from 9 am. More such raids are expected to be carried out by the department in the coming days.
