Jalan passes away

GUWAHATI, July 3: Founder State BJP member Dr . BK Jalan passed away in his Fancy Bazar residence in the city in the wee hours today. He had been associated with the party since 1980 and was the vice-president of the State unit of the party. His mortal remains were cremated at Bhoothth crematorium. BJP MP Bijoya Chakraborty and party's state general secretary BK Gupta and others condoled his death.
