Speaking to the press, JBPA president Rajib Das said today, “The Legislative Assembly election is going to be held in coming few months, which is also the backbone of a democratic country like India.”

He further added, “Various political parties have started their publicity in different places of the State, but we have noticed many crimils and persons with involved in crimil activities has started to join various political parties and going to start their strategies under the banner of the respected parties. Some of them are already ready to contest in coming election, which can pollute our political system severely and is not a good sign for our future. We, therefore, protest against involvement of the crimil peoples in election system and request all the political parties to prevent the participation of these persons in the democratic process like election.”
