JNU play in State drama festival

GUWAHATI, Sep 6: The 10th annual inter-state Brajath Sharma Memorial Drama Festival, being started from September 10 to 16, is going to host JNU’s theatre group Jumbish Art’s play – Gau’rakh Dhanda.

The drama festival committee says that this year the theme of the plays will be youth’s spirit, and accordingly the Gauhati University theatre group has also been contacted.

The plays to be staged at the festival are ‘Mahajagya’ by the Gauhati University troupe on September 10, ‘Charbak’ by the Samahar Troupe on September 11, ‘Gau’rakh Dhanda’ by JNU on September 12, ‘Junj’ on September 13 by Pik, ‘Dhulia Oja’ by Rongdhuli Sanskritik Kendra on September 14, ‘Jugasandhi’ by Samahar on September 15, ‘Lathanga Gasar Saa’ by Jagiroad tya Gosthi on September 16.
