Job to slain agriculture officer's son

GUWAHATI, August 6: The Government of Assam appointed Mausam Pathak, son of late Gadapani Pathak, as Assistant Engineer in the Assam State Agriculture Marketing Board. Gadapani Pathak, an officer with the State Agriculture Department, was killed by miscreants a few years ago. Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal formally handed over the appointment letter to Swarlata Pathak, mother of Mausam, at his office chamber here today.
