Jourlist DN Chakraborty felicitated

GUWAHATI, March 29: The Guwahati Senior Citizens’ Forum and the Jourlists’ Association of Assam (JAA) today felicitated veteran jourlist Dhirendrath Chakraborty at a function at Guwahati Press Club. Chakraborty said: “Generally newspaper houses don’t keep people after attaining 65 years of age. Maybe, I’m one among the aged jourlists still working in a newspaper.” JAA secretary Bhupen Goswami said: “Jourlist Chakravarty’s contribution to Assam is immense, and we hope he will continue to serve the State in days ahead.”
