Jourlist killed in accident

GUWAHATI, Aug 27: A jourlist of local TV channel, Rima Sarma, died on the spot when the Scotty (AS01BN6505) she was riding on was hit from behind by a truck at ABC on GS Road on Saturday night. She was going towards the GMCH. She hailed from Nijarapar in Chandmari in the city. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal condoled the death of the jourlist and announced an ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakh.
