GUWAHATI, Feb 6: AGP general secretary Ramendra rayan Kalita today said that the AGP was not going to take any decision that would go against the regiol ideology and the people of the State. He said that there were floods of misleading reports on the AGP and its poll understanding with other parties.

Kalita said that by now the AGP president has made it crystal clear on the issue of electoral understanding. He rejected outright the reported alliance between the AGP and the Congress. “The party hasn’t taken any decision on electoral understanding with any party, and he appealed to the leaders and cadres of the party at all levels to get ready for the Assembly elections. On February 11 the policy-making body of the party hold its meeting and on February 16 the central executive committee meeting of the party will be held, while the general house meeting of the party will be on February 17.”
