Kamrup (M) DC asks PWD to repair all over-bridges, flyovers

GUWAHATI, March 4: Are all over-bridges and flyovers in the city safe for vehicular movement? Such a question arises as the Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner M Angamuthu had to ask the Superintendent Engineer, PWD (Road) to inspect all over-bridges and flyovers in the metropolitan district and take their repair immediately. In a release issued to the press today, Amgamuthu said that he had inspected the Ulubari flyover connecting Gauhati Club to Ulubari yesterday. He was accompanied by the Superintendent Engineer, PWD (Road). The DC asked the Superintendent Engineer to fill up the gaps found on the flyover immediately so as to ensure smooth movement of vehicles immediately.
