Karmajogi Award to DN Chakravarty

GUWAHATI, April 10: The Golok Raimedhi Smriti Prakashan conferred the Golok Raimedhi Smarak Karmajogi Award, 2016 on veteran jourlist Dhirendra th Chakravarty at a function in Guwahati Press Club here today.

Former Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) president Padmabhushan Lakshmindan Bora gave away the award. The award carries a Srimadbhagwad Gita, a bunch of books, an angabastra, a xorai, a citation and Rs 10,000 cash.

There was an open session prior to the presentation of the award. The works and life of Golok Raimedhi was discussed.
