KSUPA raps Congress goons attacking scribes

GUWAHATI, August 19: The Krishak Sramik Unyan  Parishad, Assam (KSUPA) today condemned the attack on some jourlists by Congress goons in the Hojai SDO office in August 15 through a silent protest. KSUPA members today staged a silent protest at Dispur Press Club. A number of parties and organizations joined the protest. They demanded immediate arrest of the Congress goons who had attacked the jourlists. The KSUPA also demanded immediate removal of Hojai SDO Kaberi Barkakati Sarma and SP Kankanjyoti Saikia. It has med the Congress leaders, who assaulted the jourlists, as Basir Laskar, Misbauddin Ahmed and Netriranjan Mahanta.  They The ASUPA also sent a memorandum to the Governor seeking his intervention to arrest the culprits.
