Landslides in city, Jorabat

GUWAHATI/DIMORIA, July 4: Landslides hit Guwahati and Jorabat yet again. At rikolbari under Geeta gar police station in the city big stones slipped from the hill and fell near the house of Kulesh Chandra Sarma, damaging the house partially last night. A water tank, a safety tank, a water motor and a washing machine were damaged. Sankardev gar in the Jorabat area also witnessed landslides. Red soil from the hill slipped and fell on a house. Five labourers working in the house had a rrow escape.
