Leopard rescued from well, caged

GUWAHATI, Dec 13: A leopard prowling at Bamunpara in Boragaon area in the city went to the cage at Assam State Zoo on Wednesday after was rescued from a well this morning. The big cat was found growling inside the newly dug well of PradipDas of Bamungaon this morning. On information, police personnel and forest officials rushed to the spot. They rescued the animal only after two-hour-long struggle, but not without tranquilizing it. The big cat was taken to the State Zoo.
