Literary awards by Baxa Xahitya Gosthi

GUWAHATI, April 8: Baxa Xahitya Gosthi gave away awards in memory of Ratneswar Medhi and Rashmipriya Medhi at Guwahati Press Club on Sunday. The recipients of the awards are poets Shivani Thapa of Tezpur, Kumar Mukut Bora of Morigaon, Promod Kalita of Barpeta, ndita Dutta of Kamrup, Arun Kumar Borgoyari of Kokrajhar, Rabin Das and Harihar Hazarika of lbari, Hitesh Baishya of Baksa and Chyanika Das of Goalpara. Amarjyti Das and Shridhar Deka were also given away Kabyo Bota. Baxa Xahitya Gosthi is a literary and cultural group of lbari and Baksa districts. A collection of poetry – Apah Phool Tumaloi – by Chandradevi Dutta was released at the function.
