A kg rohu costs around Rs 400 against Rs 350-450 for a three kg of bokua,” said Pinku Paswan, a fish wholesaler at Uzan Bazar fish market. “We will bring chital, rohu, bokua, aari, xol (chan). The retail prices of fish will exceed the wholesale prices by around Rs 300 in every five kg,” Paswan said. “We will watch out if any retailer sells imported fish in the me of local ones.
