Major disaster averted in city

GUWAHATI, May 15: A major disaster was averted in the Fancy Bazar area today. A car caught fire in the underground  parking lot in the GMC Market in the Fancy Bazar area. The fire broke out due to short-circuit in the engine of the car. Fire tenders were called immediately and the fire was was doused before it could spread to other cars in the parking lot.
