By our Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, Jan 16: The Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) has appealed to Dispur to make public the report of the Pay Anomaly Committee that submitted its report to the government on January 10 this year.

The committee, led by former Assam Chief Secretary PK Dutta, was formed to examine the anomalies found in the Assam Salary Rules, 2017 and submit recommendations to the government to get the anomalies rectified.

In a statement issued to the press on Tuesday, SAKP secretary general gen Das said that various employees’ organizations of the State had submitted their memoranda to the pay anomaly committee for redressal from time to time. The SAKP also held meetings with all employees of the State, including teachers, many times and submitted their pleas to the anomaly committee. “We aren’t certain if our pleas have been reflected in the report of the committee or not,” Das said, and appealed to the government to make the report public before the government taking any decision based on it.
