Man arrested with leopard skin, bones

GUWAHATI, March 19: The sleuths of the anti-smuggling unit of Customs Division, Guwahati seized a 7.7-foot-long skin of a full-grown leopard and its bones weighing five kg from Adabari in the city on Monday. Selling and transportation of animal parts is banned under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. The Custom sleuths also arrested a person, Md. Lusai Johnney, hailing from Jaigaon in West Bengal, with the animal parts.
