Man found hanged in city hotel

GUWAHATI, May 10: A businessman was found hanged in a hotel room in the city today. According to Paltan Bazar police, Manchand Lohia (40), hailing from Hoiborgaon in gaon, checked in Hotel Prince (room no. 206) at Paltan Bazar on May 8. He was supposed to checked out on May 9, but he did not. During the room service the men in the hotel found the man hanged. Soon the police were informed of the matter. The police took the body, conducted its post-mortem and handed it over to the family members. A case (16/15) has been registered in this connection.
