Family feud makes 6-year-old orphan

DIMORIA, Jan 8: A family feud has led to the killing of a woman by her husband in front of her daughter, leading to the killing of the husband by his in-laws. The sad tale scripted in the family has only left a tragic trail – making a six-year-old girl child orphan.

The tragic incident did take place at Sakhura village under Khetri police station around five days back. Ranjan th (45) and his wife Kamala th (35) had a family feud. In a fit of rage, Ranjan killed his wife, and disposed her body by burying it in the rear side of his house. His six-year-old daughter, Jontora was an eye-witness to the entire episode. Ranjan had to tell his daughter to keep the incident a secret.

The sudden disappearance of Kamala in the house did create confusion among the neigbours who kept asking Ranjan hi wife’s whereabouts. On his part, Ranjan only kept on telling them that she had not turned up after going to road about. 

On Sunday night, Kamala’s brother Sau Orang and his colleague Bipul Orang kept on grilling Ranjan on the whereabouts of Kamala. They duo also physically tortured him to get the truth out from him. However, in the process, Rajan breathed his last. 

Meanwhile, this morning Jontora disclosed the fact that her father had killed her mother and buried her body in the rear side of their house. This led the local people to inform the police who rushed to the spot, recovered the bodies of Ranjan th and Kamala th. 

The police, on the other hand, arrested Sau Organ and Bipul Orang on the charge of killing Ranjan th.
