Man run over by train engine

GUWAHATI, Sept 5: One Akon Choudhury (74) was killed when a train engine moving from Guwahati railway station to Kamakhya railway station ran over him in the Kalipar area of Bhootth on Saturday morning. The man, who was crossing the railway track, was hit and thrown at least 5 metres away following which he died on the spot. It has been learnt that the victim was a retired government official.
