AZARA, March 31: A shed at Kahikuchi Bazar at Azara, constructed by Guwahati Subdivisiol Marketing Committee under the Assam State Marketing Board, was iugurated today by local MLA Ramendra rayan Kalita. Kalita said that the development of the market would ensure overall development in the area. He said that the market would be upgraded to a state-of-the art market so as to solve the problem of unemployment. At a function held on the occasion with the Krish Kanta Das in the chair, two kabaddi players of the area – Nikusmita Das and Amika Das – were given aid amounting to Rs 10,000 each by the MLA.
