Marwari Hospital provides health service to flood-hit

GUWAHATI, Aug 26: The Brahmaputra is still flowing above the danger level at various places and approximately over 2,500 villages in the entire state are reeling under floods.
Marwari Hospitals, Athgaon, Guwahati, in coordition and support from the district administrations of gaon and Morigaon, deputed a team of medical professiols comprising specialists from the Department of Obstetric & Gynecology, Paediatrics and General Medicine, along with nursing experts to gaon and Morigaon districts. The team of doctors comprises Dr. Salma Ferdouse Choudhury, Dr. Parimal Ranjan De and Dr. Debasish Das, along with the paramedical staff of Marwari Hospitals, offered their services to the flood-affected people at Kuthuri, gaon on August 17 and at Kaliabor, gaon on August 18. Another team of doctors comprising Dr. Debashish Das, Dr. Kartik Basumatary and Dr. Lukman Hekim, along with  paramedical staff, offered their services at Kurani Bori Gram Panchayat, Morigaon on August 20 and Patidoya, Morigaon on August 21. More than 800 patients from all age groups were provided treatment and medicines free of cost.
