GUWAHATI, April 22: Bhattapara (Garal) Ranichapori Masa Mandir under Azara police station in Kamrup(M) district is going to hold a five-day-long Masa Puja from April 26. In the evening of April 26 the puja will start with an Adhibas. On April 27, there will be jalayatra at 6 am and installation of ghosts. The puja will begin at 9 am, to be followed with offerings and sacrifices and yajhuti, purhuti and paying floral tribute and shanti at 1pm. Prasad will be distributed at 2 pm. The arati will be from 7 pm and Ojapali from 8 pm. There will be various programmes on April 28 and 29, and the ceremonial send-off of Goddess Masa will be from 8.30 am on April 30. The immersion of ghosts will be at 10 am, and idols accompanying Goddess Masa will be immersed at 6 pm. Distribution of nirmali will be at 8 pm.
