Mathletics competition on May 21

GUWAHATI, April 26: Mathletics competition 2017, an annual two-member team competition organized by Assam Academy of Mathematics (AAM) and earlier scheduled on May7, 2017, will now be held on May 21, 2017 in all 45 centres throughout the State. Any two students studying in same institution in class IX or X (including those appearing X fil) can form a team of Mathletics and participate in the competition by applying jointly through prescribed application form which is available with all centre coorditors as well as in AAM website www.aam.org.in, a press release said.  Completely filled-in form forwarded by the head of the institution and the two legal guardians of the candidates must be submitted to the centre coorditor chosen by the team from the list of coorditors displayed on the other side of the application form latest by May 16, 2017 along with an entry fee of Rs.200 (Rs.100 per candidate).

Based on the performance in the competition, a few top teams will be shortlisted for AAM awards and certificates to be awarded at a felicitation programme to be organized in connection with Ramanujan Day on December 22, 2017.
