May-I-help-you desk in all offices, says DC

GUWAHATI, March 27: Kamrup (M) DC Virendra Mittal, in his first formal media briefing after assuming charge, has said that the district administration is going to set up a ‘May I help You’ desk in all government offices in the district so as to do away with confusions among people visiting offices. When a visitor fails to get information regarding his queries from an office, he/she can get the required information from the ‘May I help You’ desk. On NRC update, Mittal said the district administration is closely monitoring the process so as to avoid mistakes. He also spoke on artificial floods, traffic srls, draige system and sanitary public toilets.
