Meet to discuss problems of Ward 1

GUWAHATI, May 9: The No. 1 Ward (Old 1 and 2) Unyan totha Samany Rakshi Samiti has called a public meeting on May 14 at Padum Krishti Sangha at Padumbori in the Jalukbari area in the city to discuss various problems afflicting the ward. Despite having Gauhati University, Assam Engineering College, Assam Forest School, Government Ayurvedic College and residential quarters of NF Railway the ward has been lagging behind on all fronts, including appointments. All these issues are likely to be raised at the meeting.
