GUWAHATI, July 26: “Fifteen latest models of Mercedes Benz buses will ply in different places covering long distances in the state. This will be a pilot project,” said State Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary while addressing the open session 31st tri-annual conference of ASTC Workers’ Association at Pandu, Guwahati on Wednesday.
Patowary called upon the ASTC officers and staff to render selfless services to make ASTC prosperous and profitable. He added that ASTC has taken a series of reform measures to cater better service to the public and increase the annual revenue.
ASTC chairman Ashutosh Agnihotri, Maging Director AP Tiwari, along with the president and general secretary of the association, were also present at the conference.
