Mild rains in next 6 days

GUWAHATI, April 21: The Meteorology Department has forecast mild rain in the coming days. A few parts of the Northeast, Guwahati and its neighbouring areas will witness mild rain in the coming 4 to 6 days due to formation of a trough line stretching from South Punjab to Manipur covering South Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and the northern part of West Bengal. The trough line is responsible for weather formation over areas.

 The weather forecast further said that the cyclonic circulation over Bangladesh and neighbourhood of West Jharkhand is aiding the trough line with clouds formed from moisture of wind from the Himalayas.
