GUWAHATI, June 3: Miscreants reran ‘the daring MP Jewelers looting’ in a cash magement services private limited in the city, but failed to loot anything. An employee of the company, however, received bullet injury in the fracas.

Last night four miscreants, borne in two motorcycles, attacked the employees of Radiant, a cash magement services private limited, when they went to their office at Chiki Path at Geetagar in the city to keep an office car. The miscreants fired at them, injuring one – Anjan Paul – in his belly, stched a bag from them and decamped. The bag, however, was empty. Anjan was admitted to the GMCH instantly and the bullet was taken out.

The miscreants attacked the employees on the presumption that they were carrying cash of the company along with them.

Meanwhile, a section of cash executives of Radiant alleged that they have no security to their life amid the risk under which they have to render their duty. In Guwahati the company has around forty cash executives who collect cash from other establishments. However, the company has only one armed guard, they alleged. A case (199/17) has been registered at Geetagar police station in this connection. The incident has proved yet again that there are illegal arms in the city. The police are yet to solve the case relating to the looting of gold from MP Jewelers in the city.
