Mobile thief gang arrested

GUWAHATI, May 23: The Paltan Bazar police caught three members of a mobile thief gang from the 7th Mile area of the city yesterday night. While one of the members maged to escape, 49 handsets from different manufacturing companies were recovered from their possession. The arrested, who all hail from Jharkhand, have been identified as Motor Ansari (28), geswar Nunia (22) and Sajrul Shaikh.
