Modern toilet iugurated

GUWAHATI, August 31: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), in association with the Akhil Bharatiya Paryavaran Ewam Gramin Vikash Sansthan (AKPEGVS), iugurated a modern toilet at Fancy Bazar in the city today. The toilet was iugurated by Guwahati Mayor Abir Patra. The toilet was constructed in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode by the GMCm with 60 per cent contribution, and the AKPEGVS with 40 per cent contribution. The toilet was constructed with all modern facilities for the differently able people like ramps. AKPEGVS will maintain the toilets for ten years.
