Modi government deals a blow to farmers: KMSS

GUWAHATI, January 5: The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) has accused the NDA government at the Centre led by rendra Modi of dealing the worst blow to the farmers of the country by amending the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Act, 2013. Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, KMSS president Akhil Gogoi said: “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Act had been ected by the UPA government at the Centre so as to give the poor farmers of the country a protective shield from land grabbers like businessmen, corporate houses and capitalists”.
