Momo festival concludes

GUWAHATI, May 18: Momo Ghar’s three-day momo festival concluded on Sunday. The festival was organized to mark the completion of 25 years of momo service by Momo Ghar in Guwahati, near Dighalipukhuri. Momo Ghar showcased different types of momos,  including that of mutton, fish and cheese apart from the chicken, pork and vegetarian momos. The main attraction of the event was a momo eating competition. Two rounds of the competition were held and the winners – Tony Das in the first round and Yunus Khan in the second round – were given coupons worth 15 plates of momos.  Tapan Baruah, the owner of Momo Ghar, said: “We are thankful to the people of Guwahati for supporting us for the last 25 years.”
