Morigaon feat

GUWAHATI, January 27: Morigaon district brought laurels to the state by winning the first prize on performance in MGNREGA in the country. The Centre will give away the award to the district on February 2. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Rakibul Hussain greeted the DC, P&RD officials and panchayat leaders of the district for the achievement. Talking to newsmen, Rakibul said that the prize would encourage them to perform even better.
