Mother dies, son hurt in accident

AZARA, Oct 6: Sushila Begum (50) of Kharpara of Mirza died on the spot and her son Hafijuddin Ahmed (32) sustained serious injuries when the bike (AS01AL4038) they were riding on turned turtle at Dharapur on NH-37 while negotiating with a bicycle rider on Friday. They were on their way back home from Guwahati. The mother-son duo was shifted to the Azara PHC where the mother was declared dead.
