MP Jewellery Robbery: Accused in police remand

GUWAHATI: Four accused of the MP Jewellery robbery case in Guwahati were remanded to six-day police custody on Monday after their appearance before the court earlier in the day. They are under the custody of Bhangagarh police station, Guwahati. All the four accused hailing from Manipur were brought to Guwahati from Kolkata where they had been arrested recently. The accused are Senjam Nongdrenkhomba @ Senjam Notenkhomba, son of Madhu Singh of East Imphal; Lisham Ibungotoma Singh, son of Lishan Kunjamoni Singh of East Imphal; Rajesh Singh, son of Bira Singh of Bishenpur, and Lourembam Rabinson Singh, son of Babudhan Singh of Imphal West.
