Munin Barkotoki Literary Award to Dalim Das

GUWAHATI, Nov 7: The Munin Barkotoki Memorial Trust, formed in memory of renowned writer, critic and jourlist Munin Barkotoki, has med young short-story writer Dalim Das as the recipient of the ‘Munin Barkotoki Literay Award’ 2017 for his short-story collection ‘Hari Jadu Madhu. The collection was published by Roudrakama Prakashan, 2016. The annual award was been instituted to encourage young and promising writers in Assamese. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000 along with a citation and a plaque. The 23rd edition of the award will be given away in a formal function to be held in Guwahati later.
