MYCA says it will oppose Centre's notification

GUWAHATI, Oct 11: The Minority Youth Council, Assam (MYCA) has condemned the Centre's September 7, 2015 notification regularizing the stay of Bangladeshi and Pakistani minorities, who entered India till December 31, 2014, in India.

Talking to newsmen here today, MYCA president Imdad Ullah Khan said: "We're not going to compromise on this issue. No illegal foreigners and refugees should get Indian citizenship. We will oppose it tooth and il."

Khan also raised the demand for free-of-cost education to Muslim women in the State.
