'MyGov Assam' on job to cement ties

GUWAHATI, Nov 29: In order to make direct and better relationship between the government and people, ‘MyGov Assam’ has let people to express their opnions if they have any say for successful implementation of various government schemes.

As a part of this programme, discussion shows are organized at different colleges of the State. Already this programme has been successfully completed in 18 colleges in Kamrup (Metro), Barpeta, Biswath, Sonitpur and Darrang districts.

Under ‘Mygov Assam’, as part of Swach Bharat Abhiyan, certain programmes have been taken up at Fatasil, AMC Horizon Colony and Jaga Horizon Colony at Uzanbazar. There were detailed discussions on problems being faced by people.

Moreover, in order to make use of social media in order to make the State administration stronger, ‘Mygov Assam’ also conducted a discussion show with social media networking platform twitter, where importance of social media and its importance were discussed in details.
