NCC camp at Umroy

GUWAHATI, Sept 15: The Northeast zone of tiol Cadet Corp (NCC) is going to organize a pre-air force camp from Sept 16 to 25 at Umroi cantonment of Borapani area of Meghalaya. The NCC NE zol office sources said in a statement today: "The annual training camp of NCC Company of 47 riding and veteriry will also be included in the 10-day training camp. The training will be participated by a total 390 cadets of five air force units of four NE states as 40 candidates from each of 50 Assam, 1 Manipur, 1 galand, 1 Mizoram and 51 Assam and 190 cadets from 47 riding and veteriry NCC companies. The camp commandant will be 50 Assam Air Squadron Flying NCC Unit Commanding Officer R Bharadwaz. The cadets will be trained in physical training, parade, drill, shooting, line area, aero modeling, health consciousness etc." The source also said: "From this training, the cadets to participate in second round pre-air force camp which will select the 41 members unit to join in tiol air force camp in Jodhpur of Rajasthan."
