NDRF demo on communication during disaster

GUWAHATI, July 27: The first battalion of tiol Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted a demonstration on installation and operation of various modern communication systems during disasters at the Assam Police Radio Organization headquarters of the city today.

The Communication team of NDRF demonstrated installation and operation of communication systems like V-SAT, INMARSAT and Quick Deployment Anten (QDA) which are simple, robust and highly reliable for tackling the challenges emerging from disasters, minimizing the impact of disasters in terms of reducing the magnitude of death and causalities, rehabilitation of victims etc.
