NEPA gives away awards

GUWAHATI, Oct 18: The Northeastern Photographic Academy (NEPA) gave away medals and certificates of merit on the occasion of the 14th NEPA All India Salon of Photography at Guwahati Press Club today. The awards were given away in six categories. In the monochrome section the gold medal was won by Atul Lahkar with childhood as the theme. In the colour section gold medal was won by Pankaj Ghosh with dusk as the theme.

In the ture section the gold medal was won by Santosh Ja with river turn as the subject. In the wildlife section the gold medal was won by Santosh Ja with Brahmi kite with frog catch as the subject. In the Jourlism section Rahul Baruah won the gold medal with man-animal conflict as the subject. In the travel section Himadri Bhuyan won the gold medal with lameney campside in halfmoon as the subject. Salon chairman Jayanta Dutta and others were present on the occasion
