Nilesh K Prasad is NFR new GM(C)

GUWAHATI, Nov 2: Northeast Frontier Railway Construction Organization appointed Nilesh Kishore Prasad as the new General Mager, w.e.f. 31st October, 2017. A railway press release confirmed this on Thursday.

Earlier, Prasad was working as Chief Personnel Officer in Eastern Railway. Prasad, a post graduate from Delhi University and an MBA from IGNOU joined Indian Railway Personnel Service in January 1983. He spent his initial years in South Central Railway, dealing with all issues related with HR and other Establishment matters. Thereafter he worked in different positions, in N. F. Railway, Central Railway and Western Railway.

Later he became the coorditing HOD and worked as Chief Personnel Officer in the New Zone - South East Central Railway from 2005 to 2008. He also worked as CPO at Cheni, Southern Railway from 2010 to 2012. Last posting was CPO Eastern Railway from 2015-17. It is worth mentioning that he has undergone various magement training courses in India and in abroad as well.
