No tie-up with Ajmal: Gaurav Gogoi

 From a Correspondent

New Delhi, March 15: Reiterating that there will be no tie-up with AIUDF in Assam in the coming general election, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi on Wednesday said that Badruddin Ajmal “can compromise with any party for his selfish goal.”
“…That is why people of Assam has rejected Badruddin Ajmal,” said Kaliabar MP Gaurav Gogoi.
Gogoi said, “UPA president Sonia Gandhi had invited all the opposition leaders but that does not mean we are in tie up with all other parties…TMC leaders were also invited in yesterday’s dinner, but we are the main opposition to the TMC in Bengal.”
In Assam too Pradesh Congress will take the fil call over tie-up.
Meanwhile, Gogoi claimed that ruling BJP is taking credits of all works done by the Congress.
“In fact, we had initiated the process of setting up a Sainik School in Golaghat and we had earlier communicated with the then Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar…but due to the lackluster attitude of the BJP Government in Assam it has not been implemented,” said Gogoi.
